The room warms up the moment it goes up. The pinks lift cream and off-white walls, the greens stop it feeling sugary, and the long shadows give the whole thing a calm, end-of-day feel.

Hang it in a kids' room above a low bookshelf, in a family hallway, or in a bedroom where you want a bit of softness without going full pastel. Eye-level works. Above a bed works too.

Pair it with pale oak, linen bedding, woven baskets and warm white walls. A simple oak or white frame keeps the focus on the scene.

Don't put it next to anything dark and graphic — bold black and white prints will flatten the watercolour. Let it breathe.
